Art, politics and a party. Colombia meets Britain: where else but in Hackney mate? Locombia aims to stimulate creative dialogue surrounding Colombian – UK social and political issues.
Locombia brings together the work of four Colombian artists, two of whom are currently on residencies at Gasworks and Space Studios. The project will culminate in an exhibiton/event taking place at the Space – Triangle Building. Locombia will develop over a three month period with artists making work in response to the Colombian Diaspora in London.
